How Stipend Payments Are Processed

1. When Payments Are Sent

• Event organizers release funds to TD Pay.

• You’ll receive an email and text notification once we’ve initiated your payment.

• Within a few hours of that notification, log in to the Tourney Direct portal and navigate to Payments → View Account to track every step of your payout.

2. Stripe Processing Time

• We initiate payments immediately upon receiving organizer funds.

• Stripe clears payouts in 1–2 business days.

• Weekends and federal holidays do not count toward processing days.

3. Bank Posting Time

• After Stripe hands off your payout, it’s “in flight” to your bank or other financial institution.

• Different banks post funds on different schedules—typically 1–5 business days from the date Stripe marks the payment “paid.”

4. Tracking & Troubleshooting

• In your portal, locate your Payout Trace ID (sometimes called a “reference number”).

• Sharing this ID with your bank (e.g., Chase, Bank of America, etc.) can help them locate and release your funds faster.

• If your bank doesn’t recognize the Trace ID yet, it usually means the payout is still “in transit”—give it another business day before following up.
