How to Install the Tourney Direct Staff App on Your Phone

What Is It?

You can now add the Tourney Direct Staff Portal directly to your phone’s home screen.

Once installed, it:

• Opens like a regular app

• Removes the browser bar

• Loads faster

• Lets you quickly access assignments, stipends, availability, and payments

No App Store download required.

How to Install on iPhone (Safari)

1. Open the Staff Portal in Safari

2. Tap the Share icon (square with arrow)

3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen

4. Tap Add

You’ll now see the Tourney Direct icon on your home screen.

iPhone (iOS) Users | Installation must be done using Safari:

• The app must be installed using Safari.

• Installation cannot be done from Chrome, Edge, or other browsers on iPhone.

• You must manually tap:

  • Share icon → Add to Home Screen

• The install prompt will not appear automatically.

• Push notifications are not available at this time (coming soon).

Once installed:

• The app opens in full-screen mode.

• It works just like a regular app from your home screen.

How to Install on Android

1. Open the Staff Portal in Chrome

2. Tap Get the App in the What’s New section

3. Tap Install App or Add to Home Screen

4. Confirm installation

The app will appear on your home screen.

Android Users

• Installation works best in Chrome.

• You may see an automatic install prompt, or you can tap:

  • Browser menu → Install App or Add to Home Screen

• The “Get the App” button will trigger installation if supported.

• Push notifications are not yet enabled (coming soon).

Once installed:

• The app opens in full-screen mode.

• It behaves like a native app.

Can I Install on Desktop?

Yes.
In Chrome or Edge, open the portal and look for Install App in the browser address bar or menu.

• It works even if your connection briefly drops
