On the day of your confirmed stipend event, don’t forget to check in using the QR code provided by the event operator. This step is essential to ensure your payment is processed.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Check the exact location of the QR code by visiting the "Event Details" link in your Event Dashboard inside the Stipend Portal.
- Scanning the QR code to check-in triggers your payment, whether through TD Pay or directly from the event operator.
- Important: If you forget to check in, the payment process will not run, and you won’t be paid for your attendance or work.
Our check-in process is simple and fast! Just follow these steps:
- Head to the info or coaches tent when you arrive at the event.
- Open the camera app on your mobile device.
- Scan the QR code provided.
- For your first scan, you’ll be prompted to complete a brief check-in form.
- After your initial check-in, future scans will recognize you—just click submit, and you're all set!
If you're ever unsure whether your scan was successful or want to double-check, simply log into the Tourney Direct stipend portal and navigate to the "My Events" dashboard. The status column will update from "confirmed" to "checked-in" once your scan is processed, and later to "paid" when your stipend is sent. It’s an easy way to ensure everything is on track!
